In a quirky and staged protest, a group of youngsters took to the streets, raising their voices against the concept of having male best friends. The video, which has garnered over 100,000 views on social media, shows demonstrators holding placards with amusing messages that take jabs at male best friends and their roles in relationships. One sign read, “Titanic ship ho ya relationship, dubega toh dono hi,” which translates to “Be it Titanic or relationship, both will sink.” Another cheeky placard said, “Pasandida mard ne kar dia sar-dard” (The desired man has caused a headache).

The Hidden Agenda Behind the Protest

While the protest initially appeared real, it was later revealed to be a staged promotional event for the romantic drama series Highway Love. The protest, aimed at generating buzz, cleverly advertised the show’s second season, which recently premiered on OTT platforms like Amazon Prime Video and MX Player. The series stars Ritvik Sahore and Gayatri Bhardwaj in the lead roles and has captured the attention of viewers with its creative marketing stunts.

The viral video was shared by the popular social media page Ghar Ke Kalesh on X (formerly known as Twitter), further amplifying its reach. While some viewers found the staged protest humorous, others appreciated the innovative promotional strategy for Highway Love’s latest season.
