The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that filming recently began in Los Angeles, featuring the return of original stars Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis reprising their iconic roles.
Directed by Nisha Ganatra, known for ‘Late Night,’ the sequel revisits Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) years after their unforgettable body-swap adventure. This time, Anna is navigating life with her own daughter and soon-to-be stepdaughter, blending two families into one. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will explore the challenges and comedic mishaps that arise when lightning strikes twice.
The cast includes familiar faces like Mark Harmon and Chad Michael Murray, alongside newcomers Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Manny Jacinto, and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan.
