US Vice President Kamala Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, recently tested positive for Covid-19, as announced by his office. On Sunday, Emhoff’s Communications Director, Liza Acevedo, stated that the Second Gentleman tested positive for Covid-19 on Saturday after experiencing mild symptoms.
“He is fully vaccinated and three times boosted,” Acevedo said, noting that Emhoff is currently asymptomatic, continuing to work remotely, and remaining isolated at home.
“Out of an abundance of caution, the Vice President was tested for Covid-19 on Saturday. She tested negative and remains asymptomatic,” Acevedo added.
Emhoff was photographed at the White House standing near Vice President Harris, President Biden, and First Lady Jill Biden during the Independence Day celebration on Thursday.
