Janhvi Kapoor, busy promoting her upcoming film Ulajh, recently spoke out about her thoughts on “situationships” in a candid interview.
In her chat with Mashable, Janhvi was asked if she has ever been in a situationship, a term used for an ambiguous or undefined relationship. She made it clear that she doesn’t get the concept at all. She described it as a “retarded concept” and said, “It’s either you like someone and you commit to them because you want to be with them and don’t want to share them, or you are not interested in them at all. I do not understand this middle ground.” She added, “All the guys who leave you hanging, kick them out!”
Janhvi Kapoor is currently dating Shikhar Pahariya. They were recently seen together at the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Last year on Koffee with Karan, Janhvi revealed Shikhar was one of the people on her speed dial, though she was a bit shy when mentioning his name.
Janhvi and Shikhar have been seen visiting the Tirupati temple together and are reported to have been dating for a few years now.
Fans will next see Janhvi in the film Ulajh, where she plays Suhana Bhatia, a young diplomat caught in a web of mystery and intrigue. Directed by Sudhanshu Saria, the film also features Adil Hussain, Meiyang Chang, Gulshan Devaiah, Rajendra Gupta, and Jitendra Joshi. Ulajh will hit theatres on August 2.
