Prior to an award ceremony, Jacob Elordi left for his home country, but he ended up in serious problems after he allegedly attacked a reporter.
Joshua Fox, a staff member of KIIS FM, is allegedly assaulted by Jacob Elordi, the popular star of the HBO series Euphoria, which has put him on police radar.
The actor from Saltburn just departed for Australia, according to reports from the Sunday Telegraph, to attend the upcoming Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards.
Elordi has been staying at the Hotel Clovelly. There he came face to face with the KIIS FM employee, who then initiated his train of questions for the Kissing Booth actor. A short while later, the situation changed, and the parties involved got into an argument. Fox’s questions are alleged to have enraged Jacob, which is what caused the aforementioned altercation.
After a while, a New South Wales Police spokesperson also confirmed the scene to news.com.au. In the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, there was an alleged assault case outside a hotel. He confirmed in his statement that the Eastern Beaches Police Area Command officers were investigating it.
On February 3, at approximately 3:30 a.m., police were reportedly called regarding reports of a 26-year-old male allegedly attacking a 32-year-old man. Additionally, the statement insisted that Fox was injury-free.
Elordi hails from Brisbane, his hometown in Australia. It’s still unknown as of right now whether he will attend the AACTA Awards. The main ceremony is slated to take place on February 10 at the Home of the Arts on the Gold Coast. His performance in the dark comedy Saltburn has earned him a nomination for the Best Supporting Actor Award.
On January 20, Elordi co-hosted a Saturday Night Live segment with Renee Rapp. Alongside Cailee Spaeny as the lead role, he also played Elvis Presley in the 2023 biopic Priscilla. Based on the memoir Elvis and Me, the American film was directed and written by Sofia Coppola.
Jacob’s relationship with YouTuber Olivia Jade Giannulli has also made headlines. Despite early breakup reports, they appear to be keeping things quiet and out of the public eye.
