Earlier on Thursday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) identified a Hezbollah terrorist cell responsible for launching rockets into the Zerait area of Israel from a building in Chihine, southern Lebanon. In response, Israeli fighter jets targeted the building where the cell was operating.
In a series of additional strikes, Israeli Air Force jets hit a Hezbollah military facility in the Kfarkela region of southern Lebanon. Simultaneously, artillery strikes were carried out to neutralize threats in the areas of Ayta al-Sha’ab and Alma al-Sha’ab.
