Isha Ambani’s attire for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding celebrations has been particularly impressive. However, it appears that she saved the most striking look for the final event. Collaborating with stylist Anaita Shroff Adjania and designer Sabyasachi, Isha Ambani debuted a unique and unprecedented couture lehenga. The ensemble, exclusively detailed to Diet Sabya, pays homage to Indian craftsmanship and draws inspiration from JG Ballard’s “The Garden Of Time,” a theme also echoed in this year’s Met Gala.
The ivory Sabyasachi lehenga featured a cropped blouse intricately adorned with floral embroidery using threadwork, sequins, and pearls. Its design included a plunging neckline, full-length sleeves, and a cropped hemline, complemented by a voluminous A-line lehenga with a high-rise waist and elaborate hand-embroidered details such as roses, Resham embroidery, leaf-shaped motifs, and beadwork resembling fruits, creating a garden-like effect. Isha completed the ensemble with a delicate georgette dupatta adorned with tassels.
To complement the couture outfit, Isha adorned herself with diamond and pearl jewelry, including a layered necklace, mang tika, bold bracelets, and oversized diamond rings. Her makeup featured darkened brows, smoky eyes with kohl, caramel lips, flushed cheeks, highlighted contours, mascara-laden lashes, and loose tresses parted at the center.
