If your kitchen drawer is overflowing with leftover ketchup packets from fast-food takeaways, you’re not alone. A recent viral video by YouTuber Sarthak Sachdeva struck a chord with millions, turning a relatable habit into a quirky online sensation. The video showcases Sachdeva’s adventurous mission to collect as many ketchup sachets as possible from fast-food outlets in a Pune mall, sparking laughter and debate among viewers.
Sachdeva kicked off his journey at a McDonald’s outlet, armed with a glass jar and a sense of determination. Despite his bold mission, he admitted to feeling a bit awkward, confessing, “Bhai McDonald’s mein aur sauce maangne mein sharam aa rahi hai (I am feeling ashamed to ask for more sauce from McDonald’s).” Pushing past the embarrassment, he filled his jar with several packets before heading to his next destination.
At KFC, Sachdeva managed to secure another 25 sachets for his collection. Even with his efforts, the jar still appeared only half full. Undeterred, he made a final stop at Pizza Hut, where luck was on his side. Instead of sachets, he discovered bottled ketchup and poured five full bottles into his jar. By the end of the challenge, he had amassed an impressive 2.5 litres of ketchup, cementing his “ketchup quest” as a light-hearted yet ambitious feat.
