Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off two Amrit Bharat trains and six Vande Bharat trains from Ayodhya Dham Station. Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated three railway projects worth Rs. 2300 crore, including the Rooma Chakeri-Chanderi third line project, sections of the Jaunpur-Ayodhya-Barabanki doubling project, and the doubling and electrification project of the Malhaur-Daliganj railway section.
He also inaugurated the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhya Dham. The phase 1 of the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhya Dham was developed with a cost estimate of more than Rs. 1450 crore. The airport’s terminal building will have an area of 6500 sqm and will be able to serve about 10 lakh passengers annually.
The airport’s terminal building, reflecting the architecture of the upcoming Shri Ram Mandir, incorporates local art and sustainability features. The airport aims to enhance connectivity, promote tourism and business, and create employment opportunities.
This initiative aligns with PM Modi’s vision to modernize Ayodhya’s infrastructure while preserving its rich history and heritage. Other projects, contributing to the city’s beautification and civic facilities, will also be laid in line with this vision.
