A significant fire continues to rage at the V Logistics warehouse in Bhiwandi taluka, approximately 40 km from Mumbai, after breaking out last night. The blaze has completely consumed the warehouse, leaving only its charred structure and billowing black smoke visible this morning.
The warehouse, located near the Mumbai-Nashik highway, housed a large quantity of hydraulic oil, cloth, plastic items, and chemicals.
The cause of the fire remains unclear. Emergency services have deployed at least six fire engines from Bhiwandi, Kalyan, and Thane to combat the flames and bring the situation under control.
