When asked about her offerings, she enthusiastically and with a smile went through her menu, happily enumerating all the food items she serves. Looking back at her endeavor, she stated, “Prior to this, I was a housewife. I was always interested in food, so I thought I should just do it. Why should I pay attention to my age? You can take any hobby at any age.” She continued, “I have been cooking food for the last 50 years.”

Social Media Applause

The emotional video has taken the social media by storm, with almost 3 lakh views. There is a deluge of praise in the comments section for her courage and tenacity.

Several of the viewers employed red heart and clapping emojis to express their solidarity. “Massive respect for aunty ji, may God bless her,” posted one user.

Another commented, “Wow, by the way, those chutneys look really good.” A couple of others seconded the view, saying, “Aunty ji has a sweet and divine aura.”

Similar Tales of Encouragement

This is not the only tale of older people who chase their aspirations. Recently, another video appeared, depicting a 108-year-old man as a vegetable seller on the roads of Moga, Punjab. Despite being aged, the older vendor was captured selling onions and potatoes with a smile.

The video was shared by an Instagram user, captioning, “Met an amazing soul today in Moga, a 108-year-old street vendor still selling onions and potatoes with a smile. His life is a living testimony to resilience, hard work, and the power of remaining rooted. Inspiring to the core to watch.”
