The sacred Amarnath Yatra, one of India’s most sacred pilgrimages, is ready to start on July 25, 2025, and end on August 19, 2025. Thousands of pilgrims travel annually to the sacred Amarnath Cave in Jammu and Kashmir to obtain the blessings of Lord Shiva. This year, the registration process officially commenced on April 14, 2025, and pilgrims need to obtain a valid permit to take part.
Limited Slots, Mandatory Registration
The Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board (SASB) has made it compulsory for all pilgrims to undergo registration either online or offline before proceeding on the yatra. Due to a limit of 15,000 pilgrims per day, advance registration is important to prevent the last-minute queue and to ascertain age and medical eligibility requirements.
