India is celebrating its 78th Independence Day today, a significant event that takes place every year on August 15. This day marks the anniversary of India’s freedom from British rule in 1947. On this occasion, the nation also honors the sacrifices of freedom fighters who gave their lives to achieve independence. As part of the celebrations, many people turn to social media to share their festivities, and one such individual is author Arun Krishnan.
Just a few hours before Independence Day, Arun Krishnan shared a video showcasing his musical tribute to the nation. In the video, he performed two versions of the Indian National Anthem, “Jana Gana Mana,” using both a guitar and a harmonica. Accompanying the video, Krishnan wrote, “On the eve of our #IndependenceDay2024, here are two versions of our National Anthem — One on the guitar, and the other on the harmonica. Dedicated to all those who defend us!”
