At the star-studded wedding of Jordan’s Crown Prince, Prince William and Ivanka Trump turned heads with an intense conversation that quickly became the center of attention. William, looking sharp in a tuxedo alongside Kate Middleton, and Ivanka, elegant in a flowing blue gown, created an unexpected scene. Their interaction drew extra intrigue, given past criticism from the Trump family toward Prince Harry and Meghan. Meanwhile, First Lady Jill Biden was also present but kept her distance from their conversation.
At the grand 2023 wedding of Jordan’s Crown Prince Hussein and Rajwa Alseif in Amman, Prince William was seen having a friendly chat with Ivanka Trump, former White House advisor and daughter of former U.S. President Donald Trump. Ivanka, who attended the celebration with her husband Jared Kushner, appeared at ease as she spoke with William for several minutes. Meanwhile, Princess Catherine stood by her husband in a stunning pink, long-sleeved Elie Saab maxi gown.

The interaction between William and Ivanka seemed friendly and relaxed, with no trace of the royal family tensions in the background. This wasn’t Ivanka’s first meeting with royalty; she had previously met Prince Harry at Buckingham Palace four years earlier, during a visit to the UK with her father while he was president.

“Does the blonde ever shut up?”
“Which pageant was she in?”

Ivanka Trump, who stepped away from politics nearly two years ago to focus on her family, has had prior interactions with British royalty. She first met Prince William during a 2019 official visit to the UK with her father, then-President Donald Trump. Known for fostering connections across political lines, Ivanka recently took her children to a Taylor Swift concert, despite Swift’s outspoken opposition to Trump’s 2024 campaign. Since leaving the political arena, Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner have kept a notably low profile, in sharp contrast to her former role as a close advisor to her father.
In contrast, Ivanka’s brother Eric has been more vocal, frequently criticizing Prince Harry’s life in the U.S. and raising questions about his visa status. He claims that “most Americans aren’t interested in Harry or his ‘unpopular’ wife, Meghan,” although he feels Harry’s visa status would likely remain unchallenged if Trump returns to office.
The Trump family has regularly taken aim at the California-based royal couple, particularly over Prince Harry’s U.S. visa and a related lawsuit by the American think tank, The Heritage Foundation, which seeks to make Harry’s visa application public after he disclosed drug use in his memoir, Spare.
In an interview with Daily Mail, Eric also praised William and Kate, stating that the future king “has never put a foot wrong,” and that Kate “carries herself with such grace and has become a steady anchor for the next generation of the royal family.” He added that his father “loved the Queen” and suggested that Harry’s exit from the UK was a show of disrespect.
