The flood situation in Assam remained severe on Tuesday, affecting more than 671,000 people across 20 districts in the second wave of flooding this year. According to PTI, the Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted a rescue operation in Dibrugarh district, saving 13 fishermen who were stranded due to the floods.
