During a campaign rally in Pennsylvania, former US President Donald Trump was abruptly removed from the stage following a series of loud noises that resembled gunshots. As the sounds subsided, Trump reportedly winced and placed his hand over his right ear, revealing visible blood.
Shortly after, agents swiftly escorted the Republican candidate from the podium. In a display of defiance, Trump ‘displayed a fist to the crowd’.
This is not the first time that a US President has been at the radar. Four U.S. presidents have been assassinated, while three – now including the former president – have been shot but survived. With the shooting on Saturday, Trump became the second to survive an assassination attempt while actively running for the presidency.
Recently, former President Donald Trump was injured during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. He claimed to be shot but assured everyone he is “fine.”
This incident occurred after Trump took the stage at his final political campaign rally before the upcoming Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. As shots rang out, chaos and confusion erupted at the rally.
Trump reportedly said, “Let me get my shoes,” into the microphone as security agents helped him back to his feet. Eventually, Donald Trump was seated inside an SUV, where he once again displayed his fist.
