The Supreme Court on Tuesday advised the Centre and the National Testing Agency (NTA) not to approach petitions regarding NEET-UG 2024 in a confrontational manner, stating that any mistakes should be acknowledged and corrected.
The court was addressing petitions about alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG 2024 exams. The justices emphasized that even minimal negligence requires prompt and decisive action.
The Supreme Court remarked, “If there is 0.001% negligence on the part of anyone it should be thoroughly dealt with.” The court has instructed the Centre and NTA to submit their responses to the allegations of paper leaks by July 8.
