A shocking incident unfolded in Salarpur village, where a man allegedly strangled his wife to death and fled after locking the room. The incident came to light when a neighbor noticed a foul odor emanating from the room and alerted the police.
The deceased’s husband, Anand, originally from Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, lived with his wife in the village. Anand worked as a mason in Noida. On Friday afternoon, a neighbor noticed a foul smell coming from Anand’s room, raising suspicions. Upon being informed, a team from Noida’s Sector-39 police station arrived at the scene. When they opened the door, they found the woman’s lifeless body lying inside.
Noida DCP Rambadan Singh stated that initial investigations suggest that the husband strangled his wife. The suspect, Anand, has fled and is currently on the run. A police team has been dispatched to Madhya Pradesh to locate him, and efforts are underway to apprehend the accused as soon as possible. The body has been sent for post-mortem, and further investigations are ongoing.
