Akshay convinced his father to let him pursue his passion for Karate, leading him to Bangkok for rigorous training. Upon returning to Mumbai, Akshay began teaching martial arts, earning Rs 5,000 to Rs 6,000 per month. During this period, a chance opportunity in modeling came his way, and his life took a turn. From making a modest income, he was suddenly offered Rs 21,000 for a single photoshoot. With that, his career started to take off, marking the beginning of his journey in Bollywood.
