As the relentless heatwave continues to grip Delhi with no relief in sight, residents face yet another pressing issue: a looming water scarcity in the city.
This situation has affected many residents gravely, as they continue to struggle to meet their basic water needs.

These above two footages provide a glimpse of the water crisis, which continues to plague the city.
In these videos, a large number of residents are seen desperately filling their buckets from water tankers deployed by authorities to provide water to affected areas.
Earlier, the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) announced a significant shortage in the city’s daily water supply.
Currently, it now stands at 969 million gallons per day, which is 321 MGD lesser than the needed amount of 1,290 MGD.
