Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has emerged victorious from the Ladwa assembly constituency, winning by a margin of 16,054 votes, according to the Election Commission. He defeated Congress candidate Mewa Singh and independent candidate Vikramjeet Singh Cheema.
In a statement following his victory, Saini expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Haryana, thanking the 2.80 crore residents for their continued support of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for a third consecutive term. He attributed his success to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating, “This victory is solely due to PM Modi. Under his leadership, we are progressing. I had faith that the poor, farmers, and the youth of Haryana would support me.”
Saini also announced plans to offer prayers at the Jyotisar temple, saying, “I will collect the certificate and then offer prayers to Lord Krishna at Jyotisar temple. The 2.80 crore people of Haryana have chosen this government, and we will continue to move forward under the leadership of PM Modi.”
As the BJP approaches a majority in the Haryana Assembly, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar highlighted the party’s achievements, emphasizing that the work done for Haryana’s wrestlers, farmers, and youth was unmatched by the Congress party. “The credit for this victory goes to our party workers and the people of the state,” Khattar said.
As per the latest Election Commission updates, BJP candidates have secured 29 seats and are leading in 20 of the total 90 Assembly seats in Haryana. Meanwhile, the Congress has won 28 seats and is leading in 8, with two independent candidates also securing victories.
