Amid heavy rainfall that the city has witnessed, a road collapsed in the Shela area of Ahmedabad city, Gujarat. Earlier, the heavy rainfall left trees uprooted and fell on parked cars. A video that is now going viral on social media is a part of road collapsing.

Heavy rainfall has inundated various parts of Gujarat, including Surat, Amreli, and Valsad, leading to severe waterlogging as seen in videos shared by ANI. According to IMD Scientist Pradeep Sharma, quoted by ANI, Gujarat is expected to experience widespread rainfall over the next five days. An orange alert has been issued for Bharuch, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, and Dadra Nagar Haveli due to predictions of very heavy rain.
