After a viral video depicted vehicles “flying” over a speed breaker on Gurugram’s Golf Course Road, authorities took prompt action by installing a cautionary sign.
The viral clip shared on X showcased a speeding BMW hitting the newly constructed speed breaker, momentarily soaring over three feet in the air and landing approximately 15 feet away from the obstacle.

The video also featured two trucks approaching the area, unaware of the unmarked speed breaker, which caused them to fly upon impact. Additionally, the footage captured several onlookers gathering to film the incident.
In response to the backlash, the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) announced on Tuesday that they had installed a cautionary sign reading “Speed Breaker Ahead.” They also marked the speed breaker with thermoplastic white paint to improve visibility at night, helping motorists navigate the area more safely.
Golf Course Road is known for its upscale residential developments, including DLF Camellias, Tulip Monsella, Golf Estate at M3M, and DLF Magnolias.
