Eyewitnesses described scenes of the roof collapsing at T1 amidst heavy morning rains, leading to flight delays and disruptions. Traffic chaos ensued across Delhi and NCR regions with extensive waterlogging reported in several areas.

The Safdarjung weather station recorded 153.7 mm of rainfall, causing flooding in many parts of Delhi and Gurgaon, disrupting daily commutes and causing significant inconvenience to residents.
