AIP Supremo MP North Kashmir Er. Rashid has levied serious allegations on National conference, in a press conference which was held in srinagar today Er. Rashid said that BJP, Home Minister, Prime Minister had already promised about giving statehood to J&K. So what new is Omar Abdullah doing?
Engineer in a press conference told that since yesterday we are seeing in the media about Omar Abdullah’s cabinet meeting where they have decided to restore statehood via a resolution.
Omar Abdullah had fought this elections based on restoration of statehood but it seems Omar has changed his goal post from 370 to statehood. His grandfather Sheikh Abdullah has done the same in 1953.
Rashid also said that Omar Abdullah changed 3 dresses on the day of oath ceremony. Though it’s his personal choice but there is nothing to celebrate. “Maatam ka waqt hai” there is nothing to celebrate. Omar seems happy that he has got CM’s chair. Omar Abdullah is trying his best to please BJP and its leaders.
He said If BJP remains in power for next 100 years, do Kashmiris have to wait for 100 years for the restoration of article 370, There is something fishy.
Before abrogation, there was an uncertainty, we wanted to know what centre wanted for J&K. I approached Dr. Farooq, he clearly said, no one will go except for 3 National Conference MP’s but instead of Akbar Lone, Omar Abdullah went to attend the meeting. National Conference knew about the abrogation.
