Reports from Zee News indicate that during this encounter, Yadav forcefully pushed media personnel aside and slammed his car door shut with such force that two journalists had their hands caught, resulting in injuries.

Yadav’s Response and Media Debate

Following the incident, Elvish Yadav responded by sharing a video clip of reporters discussing their plans to prevent him from leaving the ED premises. He commented, “For those jo media ko democracy ka fourth pillar maanta hai [For those who consider media as the fourth pillar of democracy],” highlighting his frustration with the media’s handling of the situation.

In the clip, reporters can be heard strategizing on how to stop Yadav from leaving, saying, “Ek aadmi neeche se inko tight se pakad lena inko aage jaane na dena [Someone hold him tightly from below, don’t let him move forward].”

Legal Troubles and Bail

Yadav was previously arrested on March 17 by the Noida Police and placed in 14-day judicial custody. He faces charges under the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972, and for criminal conspiracy under Section 120B of the Indian Penal Code.

Following his arrest, Yadav admitted to his involvement in the case, according to NDTV. He was granted bail five days later by a local court on a bond of Rs 50,000. Yadav’s lawyer, Prashant Rathi, argued that the accusations were false and that no substantial evidence was found violating the NDPS act. Both Yadav and his two friends were granted bail on sureties of Rs 50,000 each.

Reflecting on the Experience

In a recent vlog, Elvish Yadav reflected on his time in jail, describing it as a challenging period. He expressed gratitude to his supporters and acknowledged the negative and positive reactions he received. Yadav stated, “The one week that went by, no doubt, was a very bad phase of life. What to talk about the time I was inside (jail). Let’s start a new chapter on a positive note. All those who supported me, didn’t support me, talked badly or well about me, thanks to all. I can only thank everyone. I am back to my work.”

Yadav’s ongoing legal issues and recent media encounter continue to draw significant public and media attention, reflecting the complexities surrounding his case.
