Elon Musk is embarking on an unconventional family setup, intending to bring all 11 of his children and their mothers together under one roof. The billionaire has purchased a spacious 14,400-square-foot mansion, along with an adjacent six-bedroom property in Austin, Texas, for approximately $35 million, as reported by The New York Times.

The mansion boasts a Tuscan-inspired design and is conveniently located just 10 minutes away from Musk’s existing Texas residence. According to sources, Musk believes this unique living arrangement will foster stronger connections among his children and allow him to better manage his time with them.

Musk, who has fathered 12 children since 2002, experienced the tragic loss of his first child, who died from sudden infant death syndrome at just 10 weeks old. After that, he and his first wife, Justine Musk, welcomed five children through IVF before their divorce in 2008. Their children include twins Griffin and Vivian, followed by triplets Saxon, Damian, and Kai.

Following his marriage and subsequent divorces from British actress Talulah Riley, with whom he had no children, Musk had a notable relationship with musician Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher. Together, they have three children, including one named “X” (Extra Dark Siderael) and another known as “Y.” Their third child goes by the name Techno Mechanicus, or “Tau.” Currently, Musk and Grimes are engaged in a legal battle concerning custody arrangements for their children.

Additionally, in 2021, Musk welcomed twins with Shivon Zillis, an executive at his company Neuralink, and confirmed earlier this year that they had a third child together.
