Donald Trump Remarks ‘Don’t Buy It..’ On His Wife Melania’s Books

Donald Trump recently admitted that he hasn’t read his wife Melania Trump’s upcoming memoir, “Melania,” but that didn’t stop him from promoting it during a campaign rally. While addressing his supporters in Uniondale, New York, the former President encouraged the crowd to purchase the book, even though he humorously acknowledged his ignorance of its content.

Trump Jokes About Melania’s Memoir

Melania Trump’s memoir, set for release on October 8, has been described as “deeply personal.” Despite not having read it, Donald Trump jokingly urged his followers to buy the book, quipping, “I hope she said good things about me—I don’t know, I didn’t. So busy.” He added with a laugh, “If she says bad things about me, I’ll call you all up and say, ‘Don’t buy it. Get rid of it.’”

Melania has remained largely out of the political spotlight as her husband campaigns for a potential return to the White House. Instead, she has focused on promoting her book, as well as their son Barron Trump, who recently started college at NYU, accompanied by Secret Service agents.

Melania Defends Nude Modelling Career

As part of the promotional material for her memoir, Melania Trump defended her decision to model nude during her career, including for a 2000 cover shoot for GQ magazine. In the past, she posed nude for a French adult magazine in 1995. In a statement promoting her book, Melania expressed her views on body positivity, saying, “We should celebrate our bodies and honor the tradition of using art as a means of self-expression.”

Referencing classical art, such as Michelangelo’s “David,” Melania questioned why society could no longer appreciate the beauty of the human form, arguing that it should still be valued today.

Trump’s Plans to Visit Towns Affected by Migrant Concerns

During the same rally, Trump also announced plans to visit two towns—Springfield, Ohio, and Aurora, Colorado—that have recently come under the spotlight for their growing migrant populations. Trump and some Republicans, including his running mate JD Vance, have made controversial claims about the impact of these populations on local communities. Trump has even alleged that migrants in Springfield have been involved in eating pets such as “dogs and cats.”

In addition, Trump reiterated his campaign promise to designate Ground Zero in New York City as a national monument if re-elected, aiming to honor the victims of the 9/11 attacks.

With his signature style, Trump continues to combine light-hearted humor with bold political promises, all while pushing his ongoing campaign for the 2024 presidential election.
