A heartwarming video surfaced online where a Zomato delivery agent with disability rides his bike to make deliveries. Despite losing his hands, he is well seen navigating through the street on his scooter in the viral video that has widely circulated on the social media platforms.
This short video clip was first published by a user of the X app. The first person starts recording a passby capturing the journey of a delivery agent, as she asks, “Chala lete ho, uncle? [Are you able to ride the bike?]” The agent replied in modest nod and sweet smile.

Over 16,000 views were registered on the post along with comments from many people to show respect for the courage and perseverance of the agent. A user said, “Respect for such heroes. They are real-life heroes.” They reminded everyone not to place blame on circumstances. “Hats off to his courage, but he should wear a helmet for safety.”.
A user commented, “God bless the hero who has defied all the odds life has given him. True Hero. Salute to you sir,” while another remarked, “Resilient against resistance.”
As suggested by some users, the delivery agent should wear a helmet for safety. People with hand or limb disabilities are challenged to wear helmets. However, there is still a possibility of prosthetic limbs or sensor-based helmets that can help.
Stories like these remind us of heroes in everyday life. Not even daunted by obstacles, they inspire us with persistence. At the same time, there is no need to forget about traffic safety when driving.
