Delhi BJP President Accuses AAP Govt of looting people

Delhi BJP President Virendraa Sachdeva led a protest on Sunday against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s government, accusing it of failing to deliver on promises of free electricity and water in the slums of Delhi and “looting” the people.

Sachdeva claimed that despite the AAP government’s promises, households with minimal electricity usage are receiving exorbitant bills. “CM Arvind Kejriwal’s government has only looted the people of Delhi. They promised free electricity and water in all the slums, yet today, even a small room with just lights and fans is getting an electricity bill of Rs 4,000,” Sachdeva said.

During the protest, Sachdeva displayed a water bottle and an electricity bill from a slum in Preet Vihar, alleging that hidden taxes on these utilities are unfairly burdening the people. “This is an electricity bill for a single room with just one fan, and the charge is outrageously high. The people of Delhi are being robbed with secret taxes on their utility bills,” he asserted.

Sachdeva also criticized the poor condition of roads in the capital, stating that even a brief period of rain causes severe waterlogging. He vowed that the BJP would expose the corruption of the AAP government and claimed that the people of Delhi are ready to elect a BJP leader as their next Chief Minister. “Delhi’s roads flood after just half an hour of rain. The BJP will reveal their corruption, and the people have decided to oust this corrupt government,” he added.

In addition to Sachdeva, BJP leaders Bansuri Swaraj and Ramvir Singh Bidhuri also organized rallies in Malviya Nagar and Indira Kalyan Vihar, respectively, criticizing the Delhi government for failing to provide clean drinking water and free electricity to the residents.
