Anant Sethi, a fashion designer at Narayani Vastra, highlighted the bazuband’s historical significance, originally part of Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s royal treasury, symbolizing power and prestige. He praised Padukone’s innovative use of the bazuband as a necklace, emphasizing its versatility and timeless beauty within Indian jewellery.

Ankur Shukla from Tara-C-Tara echoed the sentiment, noting how Deepika elegantly adorned the heritage piece, making it the focal point of her attire while honoring India’s rich cultural heritage.

Previously, Padukone had worn a purple Torani Bhadra Sanjali sari for Anant and Radhika’s sangeet, showcasing Indian artisanry from Torani’s Classics collection, underscoring her affinity for traditional craftsmanship.
