Rajasthan State Congress President Govind Singh Dotasra›s statement on Monday made it clear that Congress will fight the by-elections on all seven seats to be held next month alone. The state Congress has raised the issue of forming an alliance at the centre. However, current indications suggest that the Bharat Adivasi Party and Hanuman Beniwal’s Rashtriya Loktantrik Party, which were allies during the Lok Sabha elections, no longer show interest in partnering with Congress. Both the parties have started preparing election strategy according to their own. BAP has fielded its candidate from Salumbar without talking to Congress. If both regional parties decide to sever ties with Congress, it may ultimately benefit the party in terms of long-term strategy. However, this could complicate Congress’s position in the upcoming by-elections.
The reason for this is that out of the seven seats, victory in Beniwal›s Khinvsar and BAP Chaurasi will not be easy for Congress. As far as the remaining five seats are concerned, Jhunjhunu is the strongest among them. MP Brijendra Ola will easily make any member of his family win the election. It is expected that Amit Ola will get the ticket from there. Apart from this seat, the road to the remaining four seats is going to be challenging this time. Along with Jhunjhunu, Congress had also won Deoli-Uniiara and Dausa, but the candidates that BJP has fielded on these two seats are able to give a tough fight to Congress. BJP has created problems for Congress by giving tickets to Jagmohan Meena, brother of senior leader Kirori Lal Meena, from Dausa. Similarly, Rajendra Gurjar from Deoli-Uniara is considered close to former MP Sukhbir Singh Jaunpuria. In a way, Jaunpuria has been given the responsibility of winning the Deoli-Uniara seat. Elections are being held on Salumbar seat due to the death of BJP MLA Amrit Lal Meena. There is a competition between BAP and BJP. However, the thing to be seen is who Congress makes its candidate. If Congress fields a strong candidate, then Salumbar seat can get stuck in a triangular contest.
Ramgarh seat had fallen vacant due to the death of Congress MLA Zubair Khan. In such a situation, the party is going to give tickets to someone from Zubair’s family. This time the competition is tough for Congress there. BJP rebel Sukhwant Singh has been included in the party this time and has been fielded with the symbol of ‹lotus›. Sukhwant stood second in the last assembly elections, while BJP candidates stood third. In such a situation, if Congress saves its four seats in the current circumstances, then it will be a big achievement for them.
Although Congress claims to win all the seats, there will be factionalism in these seats too. After the victory in Haryana, the spirits of BJP are high.

After the meeting held at the Congress’ war room on Monday for the selection of candidates, Dotasra said that the Congress party is preparing to contest all the seats in the assembly by-elections of 7 assembly constituencies to be held on November 13. Congress party candidates will be victorious on all these seven seats. He said that in the meeting, a comprehensive strategy has been prepared for the preparations of the by-elections to be held in the seven assembly constituencies and detailed discussion has been held on the selection of candidates. He said that the panel of potential candidates of Congress has been prepared. This panel will be presented before the All India Congress Committee by Rajasthan In charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, on which the decision of candidate selection will be taken by the party high command. He said that the party has prepared to contest the by-elections to be held in all the seven assembly constituencies by fielding the party›s candidate. He said that the final decision of the alliance regarding the by-elections in the state will be taken by the party high command. The public of the state will vote in favour of the Congress party on the issue of 10 months of misrule of the BJP and make the party candidates victorious. Randhawa said on this occasion that the Congress party candidates will be victorious on all seven seats in the upcoming assembly by-elections in the state.

Meanwhile, former Union Minister Jitendra Singh said that the Congress party is ready to contest the elections with full force on all seven assembly seats of Rajasthan, including Ramgarh. The people of Rajasthan have been troubled in the 10-month tenure of the slip government, for which they will be given an answer in this by-election. He was addressing the Congress workers who were present in the Congress Committee meeting regarding the Ramgarh by-election. He said that the countdown of the BJP government formed by betraying the public opinion has started.

Leader of Opposition Tikaram Juli asserted that BJP, known for spreading hatred and casteism, will be decisively defeated in the upcoming by-elections. He claimed that the party, which has lost its influence across the state, will not succeed in Rajasthan any longer.
“The era of empty slogans is coming to an end, and a new chapter of love and development will be written through these by-elections,” he stated.
Juli emphasised that both, the Chief Minister and his ministers are feeling powerless, arguing that a government that practices double standards between the rich and poor is destined to fail. He confidently declared that the call for change will lead to the downfall of the BJP, and the Congress victory is resounding in the cries for transformation.
