During his visit to the Gorakhpur Temple on Wednesday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath engaged in a heartwarming interaction with children, spreading joy and blessings. The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh exchanged pleasantries with the young visitors, offering words of encouragement and gently placing his hand on each child’s head to bless them for success in their studies and endeavours. As a token of affection, he also distributed chocolates to the children, eliciting smiles all around.

CM Yogi’s visit to the Gorakhpur Temple follows his earlier prayers and homage-paying rituals at the revered site. On Tuesday, he offered prayers at the Gorakhnath Temple and paid his respects at the samadhi of his late guru, Mahant Avedyanath. Having embarked on a whirlwind election tour to four Lok Sabha constituencies in Uttar Pradesh, CM Yogi stayed overnight at the Gorakhnath Temple on Monday before resuming his engagements the following day.

During his visit to the temple complex, CM Yogi took the time to visit the cowshed (gaushala), where he interacted with the cows by their names and fed them bread (roti) and jaggery. His hands-on approach and affinity towards the animals reflected his commitment to the welfare of all beings.

Meanwhile, addressing a rally in Gorakhpur, CM Yogi emphasized the significance of the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha election, framing it as a contest between Ram devotees and traitors. Asserting that only a true devotee of Lord Ram deserves to lead the nation, he rallied public support behind the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) by invoking the spirit of devotion and patriotism.

In his impassioned speech, CM Yogi criticized the Congress and Samajwadi Party, accusing them of being anti-Ram and undermining the values and sentiments of millions of devotees. He called upon the electorate to reject those who oppose the construction and reverence of the Ram temple, emphasizing that the election represents a clash between faith and betrayal, with the future of the nation hanging in the balance.
