The role of young people in the overall evolution of a nation is very important and significant. Young people are the backbone of the country’s prosperity and development. Today young people from a young age are embarking on a history of achievement in many fields with their many talents, abilities and adventures. This is commendable and welcome as well. On the other hand, it is noteworthy that in this modern world, the fastest generation of youth is abusing the achievement of the young and obstructing the journey of youth.

This world of ours has been fully computerised and mobilised for the past couple of decades. People have lived a comfortable life, even if there weren’t mobiles in the past couple of decades. But now we rely on it. Today leading life is impossible without a computer and mobile. Most marketed mobile phones are available at cheaper prices today. With the use of a computer, the difficult task is easily solved in the fastest time. Even though scientific progress is useful and enjoyable for human life, on the other hand, it is miserable.

It is shocking that today gifted young educated people are lured to money and use their phenomenon to commit social crimes. For example, computer experts (software engineers) can misuse their expertise in bank robbery, money laundering on the Internet or robbing other’s money without an ATM password. All of these are not acts of ordinary lowly educated or uneducated thieves. These are all things that can be done by educated professionals. If the same skill and expertise are used for the benefit of the government, the educated people will be successful in their learning. But selfishness and greed are the roots of such an act.

Nowadays as soon as their children become young, parents feel that it is inevitable to give them a mobile. They feel that it is a question of their prestige and respect in society. If necessary, using scientific instruments is welcome. But today the use of the Internet is very common in mobile. This is good if used commercially or for some other useful purpose. Instead, they engage in unnecessary number of hours of e-chatting, uninterrupted pornography websites viewing which is regrettable, corrupts the youths’ minds and misleads their path. Using an unknown sim card to send pornographic films to innocent girls to disturb and torture them is a seriously reprehensible thing.

In today’s youth, a handful of money has made everything seem normal. It is appalling that the Western culture has been living a life of decadence, with little or no difference between right and wrong. Pub, bar, DJ, dating…these types of cultureless activities have made young people gradually lose their sense of what will happen. Today young people are taking to the streets to view pornography as a protest. When young people are embedded in such a mood today, we are aware of the situation and the direction in which we are moving. Uncontrolled pornography provokes an even uglier attitude to others, this makes the mind of man worse.

It is a big tragedy that is causing today’s young people to go out of their way. Terrorists have used youths for terrorism by contaminating (brainwashing) their minds by kidnaping their own country’s children, mothers, and sisters keeping them as hostages. Thus youths are feeling betrayed to their own motherland with inhumanity and act of slur. Nowadays it has become a common incident to hijack an airliner with a passenger as a hostage for lure and despicable levels of demand. It is shocking that innocent youths are being used to do all such evil deeds. When one considers many of these misfortunes today, the root cause of this is the impotence of moral values and the fall of moral values in a man. It is unfortunate that humanitarian values are declining in society. Young people need positive attitude and self-confidence to be creative in the face of today’s competitive modern world. Mental equilibrium is needed to realistically determine the right course of life. The government must make value education mandatory in school curricula to meet upcoming conditions. Let today’s modernisation be non-lethal, complementary. Then the scientific progress will be successful.

There is a need for value-based movements today to bring about reform in young people and in society as a whole and a spiritual revolution is essential for that. Awareness of moral values through spirituality is augmented by positive mental attitude. Constant meditation helps to build self-esteem. Young people today must be self-motivated to do good.
