Chandramohan Lacks Vision for Panchkula – Gian Chand Gupta

Haryana Assembly Speaker Gian Chand Gupta criticizes Congress candidate Chandramohan’s manifesto as “empty promises” and defends the BJP government’s achievements.

Haryana Assembly Speaker and BJP Gian Chand Guptahas dismissed the manifesto released by Congress candidate Chandramohan as mere empty paper. On Wednesday, Gian Chand Gupta stated that the resolution document contains claims that have already been fulfilled.
The Assembly Speaker pointed out that the promise of providing women with gas cylinders at Rs 500 has already been accomplished by the BJP government. He added that the BJP government is also working to provide roofs for the poor. ‘The announcement of Minimum Support Price (MSP) for 24 crops in Haryana has also been made earlier by us.’ Said Gupta
Gupta mentioned that a permanent solution to the Jhuriwala dumping ground is being pursued by them. He noted that Chandramohan had contributed to establishing the dumping ground in Panchkula when he was an MLA during the Congress regime. ‘The cleanup of this area began during their tenure, and 200,000 metric tons of waste have already been removed from there.’ Said Gupta
According to the spokesperson, Gupta found it amusing that Chandramohan is talking about starting a pink bus service in Panchkula. He advised Chand ramohan to take a look around Panchkula to see whether the pink bus service is operational or not. He highlighted that the BJP government has specifically initiated the pink bus service. Gupta mentioned that Chandramohan has also discussed free bus services for journalists. He remarked that perhaps Chandramohan is not well-informed, as free bus services for accredited journalists in Haryana have been in operation for several years.
Gupta added that he has personally invested crores from his own funds to improve the condition of link roads and streets in rural areas, and work has been done on these projects. He further stated that regarding the construction of new concrete ghats for rituals on the Ghaggar River, Chandramohan may not be aware that a Chhath ghat has already been built here. CCTV cameras have already been installed in various villages, and public toilets have been constructed as well, with tenders issued for the remaining locations.
Gian Chand Gupta remarked that Chandramohan, who talks about installing CCTV cameras for security, may not know that over 350 CCTV cameras are already in place in the city. He concluded by saying that if Chandramohan did not step out of his drawing room for five years after losing, and did not participate in anyone’s joys or sorrows, he would not understand how much progress Panchkula has made in terms of development.
