The Brotherhood Welfare Society (Regd.) in Sector 18, Chandigarh, recently paid tribute to a distinguished 99-year-old Colonel in a special ceremony. Society President BS Dhaliwal expressed that their tradition involves annually honoring senior citizens aged over 85. The society, established in 1983, remains committed to recognizing and appreciating the contributions of elderly members.
This year, the society selected six outstanding individuals for recognition, including the esteemed 99-year-old Colonel HS Sarat. Other honorees include Gurcharan Kaur, the Founder President of the Society, along with Chander Kanta Talwar, Darshan Kumar, TS Narang, Gurdeep Kaur, and Kaur Bhatti.
During the celebration, cultural programs were conducted by Shri Bhatia, adding a vibrant touch to the event. Mrs. Kanchan Agarwal and Mr. Rishi Raj led a lively Tambola session, contributing to the festive atmosphere.
The gathering was graced by the presence of other society members who joined in the spirit of honoring and celebrating the valuable contributions of these esteemed senior citizens.
