A British tourist fights for his life in a coma after a security guard at a bar in Pattaya, Thailand, reportedly kicked him in the head. The incident, which unfolded on Friday night at Helicopters Bar, allegedly began over a dispute regarding a drinks bill.

Disturbing footage circulating online captures the assault. An altercation erupted between the bar’s hostess and three British men over an unsettled portion of their bill. Refusing payment, the tourists claimed they were being scammed. Upon the hostess’s call for security, CCTV footage captured the tourists eventually settling their bill. However, tensions flared when one of the tourists purportedly pushed a security guard, leading to a brawl outside the establishment.

In the video, three security guards overpower the British men, with one tourist seen pleading for mercy while on the ground. In a shocking display of violence, a security guard delivers a forceful kick to the head of the defenseless tourist. The victim remains unconscious on the ground for several minutes. Witnesses report that the tourist is currently in a coma in intensive care.

Despite the severity of the attack, Thai authorities have only issued a warning to the security guards. No arrests have been made as no formal complaint has been lodged. Sergeant Major Arthon from the Pattaya City police station stated, “There’s no case open until they complain. We’ve looked around but can’t find them. Yes, we’re still checking the CCTV to see what happened to them. There are rumors that he is in intensive care, but we haven’t heard anything from hospitals.”
