The movie was a money spinner when it hit the theaters, made a lot of money, and was its producers’ goldmine. Though some people in the audiences were appreciative of the plot, it did not justify the financial success it sought. Made on a budget of Rs 350 crore, it could only gross Rs 102.16 crore.
