Sonu Nigam Breaks Down at Tishaa Kumar’s Prayer Meet; Consoled by Krishan Kumar

Singer Sonu Nigam recently attended the prayer meet for Tishaa Kumar, the daughter of actor-producer Krishan Kumar, who passed away after a prolonged illness. Krishan Kumar is the cousin of Bhushan Kumar, the head of T-Series.

Sonu Nigam’s Emotional Moment

In a video shared on Instagram, Sonu Nigam is seen weeping inconsolably. He walks up to Krishan Kumar, sits beside him on the floor, and rests his head on Krishan’s lap, crying. Krishan is seen comforting him. Singer Shaan was also present at the prayer meet.

About Tishaa Kumar

Many celebrities attended the prayer meet to pay their respects to Tishaa Kumar. Among them were Kartik Aaryan, Anil Kapoor, Anu Malik, Vicky Jain, Udit Narayan, Jackie Shroff, and Bobby Deol.

Tishaa’s funeral took place in Mumbai on Monday, attended by numerous film industry members, including Bhushan Kumar, Farah Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, and Jaaved Jaaferi. Her cousins, Tulsi Kumar and Khushali Kumar, were also present.

Initially scheduled for Sunday, Tishaa’s last rites were postponed to Monday due to her remains being diverted to Ahmedabad because of bad weather. Tishaa was the daughter of Krishan Kumar and Tanya Singh. Her last public appearance was at the premiere of Ranbir Kapoor’s “Animal” on November 30, 2023.
