After 21 years, actors Zayed Khan and Amrita Rao have thrilled fans by reuniting for a new project, reminiscent of their iconic roles in the film Main Hoon Na. A video of the duo shooting together has surfaced on social media, sparking excitement and nostalgia among fans.

The video, shared by a Mumbai-based paparazzi photographer on Instagram, shows Zayed and Amrita greeting each other warmly and engaging in a lively conversation before shooting. The post read, “Muh toh band karo, uncle! Zayed Khan and Amrita Rao were seen together after 21 years! The suspense is killing us. Can’t wait to find out what’s next, especially after spotting them at the Nykaa shoot! Any guesses what they’re up to?” The Nykaa shoot tag hints at a possible collaboration with the beauty and wellness brand.

Fans flooded the comment section with expressions of joy and surprise, noting how the actors seemed unchanged by time. Comments like “They are still the same” and “They didn’t even age a day HOWWWW???” reflect the general amazement. Others reminisced about their childhood crushes and suggested that the pair could still star in a love story film.

Main Hoon Na, directed by Farah Khan, marked her directorial debut and featured a star-studded cast including Shah Rukh Khan, Sushmita Sen, and Suniel Shetty. The film follows Major Ram Sharma (Shah Rukh Khan) on an undercover mission to protect a general’s daughter (Amrita Rao) from a rogue soldier, with Zayed Khan playing the role of Shah Rukh’s brother and Amrita’s love interest. The film, released on April 30, 2004, was well-received by critics and remains a beloved Bollywood classic.

Zayed Khan, who made his acting debut with the 2003 film Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne, gained fame with roles in Main Hoon Na, Shabd, and Dus. He was last seen on the TV show Haasil and has been away from the limelight for some time. However, he is set to make a comeback with the film The Film That Never Was, directed by Mohit Shrivastav and starring Jackie Shroff.

This unexpected reunion of Zayed and Amrita has certainly piqued interest, leaving fans eagerly awaiting more details about their latest collaboration.
