Ajay Devgn and director Neeraj Pandey have announced the new release date for their movie ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha.’ Originally, the film was set to come out at the same time as ‘Kill,’ starring Lakshya and Raghav Juyal. To avoid this clash, the release was postponed. Now, the movie will hit theaters on August 2, 2024.
Ajay Devgn and Tabu, who star in the film, shared the new date on social media. Ajay wrote, ‘The wait ends on 2nd August,’ while Neeraj posted a picture with the caption, ‘In cinemas August 2, 2024.’ Fans are excited as Ajay and Tabu have previously worked together in popular movies like ‘Drishyam’ and ‘Golmaal Again.’
‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha‘ is a romantic thriller that spans 22 years. It features Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar as the younger versions of Ajay and Tabu’s characters. The trailer shows a mix of crime, violence, and an unusual love story.
Director Neeraj Pandey explained why they chose different actors for the younger versions instead of using special effects to make Ajay and Tabu look younger. He said using such technology would look ‘ridiculous’ and that people’s appearances naturally change over 24 years, which adds realism to the story.
Besides ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha,’ Ajay Devgn has several upcoming projects. He will star in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham 2,’ featuring a star-studded cast including Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, and Akshay Kumar. Ajay will also appear in ‘Raid 2’ with Riteish Deshmukh and Vaani Kapoor, and in the romantic comedy ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ alongside Rakul Preet Singh and R Madhavan.
Fans are eagerly waiting for August 2 to see ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ and enjoy another exciting performance by Ajay Devgn and Tabu.
