In a shocking incident in Bengaluru, a 22-year-old woman named Kriti Kumari from Bihar was murdered on Tuesday night. Kriti was staying at a paying guest (PG) accommodation in VR Layout, Koramangala.
According to reports from India Today, Kriti, who worked for a private company, was attacked around 11:10 to 11:30 PM. A man entered the PG accommodation and assaulted her near her room on the third floor. Tragically, she died on the spot from the injuries.
The police have identified a suspect and are currently working to track him down using CCTV footage. Authorities believe the suspect might be someone known to Kriti.
South East Division Deputy Commissioner of Police, Sara Fatima, stated, “The accused entered the accommodation, and after slitting her throat, Kriti Kumari died instantly. We are investigating the motive behind this horrific crime. The suspect has been identified, and efforts are underway to locate him.”
The police are continuing their investigation to determine the exact motive behind the murder.
