BharatPe has reached a definitive settlement with its former co-founder, Ashneer Grover, effectively ending their long-standing dispute. As part of the agreement, Grover will no longer have any association with the company in any capacity, nor will he hold a stake in its shareholding.
According to the settlement, Grover’s shares will be handled by his family trust, while certain shares will be transferred to the Resilient Growth Trust for the benefit of BharatPe. Both BharatPe and Grover have also agreed to withdraw any legal actions filed against each other.
A BharatPe spokesperson, as cited by Moneycontrol, confirmed the agreement, stating, “We wish Mr. Grover well. BharatPe continues to focus on delivering industry-leading solutions to its merchants and customers, driving growth with profitability.”
This marks a conclusion to the legal battle between Grover and BharatPe, allowing both sides to move forward without further litigation.
