In a significant development, first-time MLA Bhajan Lal Sharma has been elected as Rajasthan’s new Chief Minister. Sharma, a senior general secretary of the BJP in Rajasthan and an ABVP member, emerged victorious after the BJP meeting in Jaipur. This crucial session, which determined the state’s next Chief Minister and Deputy CMs, was attended by the party’s central observers.

In addition to Sharma, the saffron party has nominated Diya Kumari and Prem Chand Bairwa as Deputy Chief Ministers. This strategic decision was made following intense discussions and considerations at the BJP meeting.

Rajasthan’s CM-designate, Bhajan Lal Sharma, received a warm welcome with a garland ceremony in Jaipur following the BJP’s endorsement of his candidature for the CM post.

“Rajasthan CM News Live: Diya Kumari and Prashant Berwa, also MLAs from Jaipur, to be deputy CMs. Bhajanlal Sharma has been elected as the leader of the Rajasthan BJP Legislature Party. There will be two Deputy CMs, Diya Singh and Dr. Prem Chand Bairwa. Vasudev Devnani to be the Speaker,” stated BJP central observer for Rajasthan, Rajnath Singh.

The announcement comes amidst growing anticipation about the state’s new chief minister, signifying a decisive moment in Rajasthan’s political landscape. Bhajan Lal Sharma’s recent electoral triumph in the Sanganer seat in 2023, clinching a significant victory over Congress’s Pushpendra Bhardwaj by a margin of 48,081 votes, has solidified his position as a robust choice for leading the state.

With this momentous development, all eyes are on the BJP’s decision, marking a significant juncture in shaping the future governance and trajectory of Rajasthan.
