In anticipation of the upcoming Ramotsav 2024, Ayodhya is preparing a spectacular welcome for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Cultural Department, following Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s directives, is orchestrating a series of cultural events to honour PM Modi.
Over 1,400 local artists are set to perform on approximately 40 stages along the route from the airport through Dharma Path and Ram Path to the railway station. At the airport meeting venue, 30 local artists will showcase their talents, creating a vibrant atmosphere for the Prime Minister’s arrival. The cultural presentations aim to not only highlight the cultural heritage of Uttar Pradesh but also captivate PM Modi and the audience.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed an unprecedented welcome for PM Modi in Ayodhya, and the Culture Department has made robust preparations accordingly. A total of 40 stages will be set up along PM Modi’s roadshow, featuring performances by local artists.
A significant stage will be erected at Gate Number 3 of the airport, and five additional stages will be placed between the Airport and Saket Petrol Pump. Along the Dharma Path, artists will showcase their performances on 26 stages. The cultural extravaganza will unfold the essence of Uttar Pradesh’s rich heritage on various stages along the Ram Path and other locations.
As part of the cultural programs, artists from various states will contribute to the celebration. The festivities will include folk dances such as ‘Avadhi,’ ‘Vantangiya,’ ‘Faruwahi,’ and more. Residents of Ayodhya will have the opportunity to witness diverse cultural presentations, creating a vibrant and memorable atmosphere during Ramotsav 2024.
