On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid his respects at the renowned Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati. In response to ‘X,’ Prime Minister Modi wrote in a post, “At the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Tirumala, prayed for the good health, well-being, and prosperity of 140 crore Indians.” On Sunday, Prime Minister Modi touched down in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, and Governor S Abdul Nazeer greeted the prime minister upon his arrival at the Renigunta airport.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived at Tirupati. He was welcomed by Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and other dignitaries,” the Prime Minister Office (PMO) posted on X (formerly Twitter).
Later in the day, PM Modi will be visiting Hyderabad and will be taking part in a road show in the capital city of Telangana.
A number of restrictions and detours have been implemented by the Hyderabad police in light of PM Modi’s visit and the BJP’s election road show. The state’s main political parties, the Congress, the BJP, and the BRS, have intensified their campaigning efforts. Tuesday is the final day of campaigning before the state’s elections on November 30. Starting at 1 pm and lasting until 10 pm, Hyderabad will be subject to restrictions.
