Recently at AP’s Chilakaluripet mandal, A traveling bus was charred to death, after it collided with a lorry in Andhra Pradesh’s Palanadu district. According to the police, out of 42, as many as six people were killed, announced police on Wednesday.
As for the injured, they were given first aid at the Chilakaluripet town government hospital. For further treatment, they were referred to Guntur City.
These Six are identified as Anji (35), Uppgundur Kashi (65), Uppugundur Lakshmi (55), and Mupparaju Khyati Saishri (8), who were native to Bapatla district, Andhra Pradesh.
However, the identity of the other two is yet to be ascertained.
As per Chilakaluripeta rural police’s official, these 42 people were traveling in a bus, after casting their vote on Monday.
According to the official, the lorry driver, a bus driver, and four others were already dead on the spot.
The Police also disclosed, the bus was enroute to Hyderabad from Batpala’s Chinnaganjam, when it faced collision with a lorry.
As a result, two vehicles got grievously damaged in the accident.
