Union Minister Amit Shah on Saturday criticized the Congress for attempting to intimidate us by highlighting the neighboring country’s possession of atomic bombs. He firmly stated that Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK) is a part of India, and we will reclaim it.
Addressing a rally in Amb, Una district, in support of Union minister Anurag Thakur, the BJP candidate for the Hamirpur Lok Sabha seat, Shah declared, Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) hamara hai, hamara rahega aur hum ise lekar rahenge (PoK is ours and it will remain ours. We will take it.”
Shah stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already secured 310 seats in the initial five phases of the Lok Sabha elections, and the goal of surpassing 400 seats would be reached in the sixth and final phases. Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi would be limited to just 40 seats. He also urged the public to ensure the BJP’s victory in the six-assembly seat by-polls, which would pave the way for a BJP government in the state and help achieve the ‘400-paar’ target.
He also criticized Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi, saying, “They visit Shimla for vacations but avoided attending the inauguration ceremony of Ram Mandir due to their fear of alienating their vote bank.”
He added “The current Congress government is false and ineffective. They promised 100,000 jobs in their first cabinet meeting, Rs 1500 for women, and buying cow dung, but none of these guarantees have been fulfilled.”
Amit Shah detailed the central projects provided to Himachal Pradesh by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, totaling over Rs 10,000 crores. The polling for all four seats in Himachal Pradesh is set for June 1. This election will not only see candidates competing for Lok Sabha positions from four constituencies but will also involve electing members for six assembly seats that became vacant after dissident Congress legislators resigned and switched parties.
The BJP, having secured all four Lok Sabha seats in the 2019 elections, is aiming to repeat its success this time.
