Amit Shah hosted the first rally in Bihar after the JDU-BJP breakup and ripped apart Nitish Kumar and Lalu Yadav.
The Union Home Minister, while addressing his first rally in Bihar after JDU parted ways with BJP, said that Nitish Kumar has betrayed the people by switching sides after the voters of the state had chosen the BJP-JDU alliance in the state elections.
After parting ways with BJP, Nitish Kumar returned to the Mahagathbandhan or the Grand Alliance of Bihar.
Shah said, “The huge crowd here is a warning for Nitish Kumar and Lalu Yadav.” He further added “The threat of Jungle Raj is back in Bihar ever since sides were switched. I want to tell people – this Nitish-Lalu duo has now got exposed. Within three years of rule, under PM Modi’s leadership, the BJP had helped in getting rid of terror from the Leftist groups.” Amit Shah took a dig at Nitish by asking “Can Nitish Kumar become PM by switching sides?”
The opposition is trying hard to put up a strong front against the BJP in the 2024 national elections. However, Nitish has repeatedly said he is not considering taking part in the race for Prime Minister’s post.
The Union Minister landed in Bihar at around 11 AM and went to the Rangbhoomi ground to address the ‘Jansabha’ rally.
After hosting the rally, Shah is supposed to meet all the 17 Lok Sabha members of the party from Bihar, five Raya Sabha members, all 77 MLAs, 23 MLCs, and other authorities in the state to discuss the elections
