In connection with the urination incident onboard Delhi Commission for Women chief Swati Maliwal demands to arrest the accused man.
Meanwhile, Maliwal issued a notice to the Delhi Police, Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), and Air India on Friday.
“Recent incidents of drunk men urinating on women on flights are extremely disgusting and shameful. It is shocking to note that the accused haven’t been arrested yet. Simply banning the person isn’t enough. I am issuing notices to Delhi Police, DGCA & Air India in the matter,” said Swati Maliwal.
Describing the incident as ‘extremely disturbing and serious,’ the DCW chief wrote the notice. From Delhi Police Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and Air India Maliwal has also demanded relevant information by 10 January, 12 pm.
Moreover, the accused has been identified as S Mishra, a resident of Mumbai. The investigation is joined by just four crew members and others will be joining the probe on Friday.
Earlier on 26 November the incident took place on an Air India flight from John F Kennedy international airport in New York to Delhi the flight was on its way.
